Viva Comida serves up modern Portuguese food described as “Comfort Food Classics with a Playful Twist.”  Alexander Tavares’ roots in the Flint go back a couple generations, so when he and business partner Louie Silva decided to open a new restaurant, Pleasant Street was the natural choice. It definitely paid off. They are now getting excellent reviews (see below).
